Start for freeHello and welcome to the inaugural edition of Technotonin News!
We’re thrilled to bring you updates on our journey as a team, with immense gratitude to our Mentors, Advisors, Teammates, Family, and Special Advocates who have been our backbone in this adventure. Together, you make up the family that drives us forward.
We are excited to announce that we secured a $25,000 grand prize at WPI’s Demo Day! This victory was a huge step forward for us, and we couldn’t have done it without the support of our mentor Scott Harris, co-founder of SolidWorks and Onshape, who showed up in person to cheer us on. After the event, we also connected with Paul Kalenian, a sponsor, engineer, and entrepreneur behind Kalenian Coffee Consulting, as well as Ray Knox, Founder & Principal Consultant with expertise in contract engineering and manufacturing. Their insights have been invaluable, and we’re continuing to build meaningful connections.
On the development side, we’re excited about the progress we’ve made with the latest PAWE 3.0. The newly molded polyurethane wheels have performed impressively well, but we’re exploring further refinements to improve traction. Our upgraded battery system is showing promising results, providing more miles per charge than ever before. We’ve also been working on new quick-grip latches, designed to make the PAWE attachment process to wheelchairs smoother and easier.
As we look ahead, we’re gearing up for the next phase. We are actively seeking more funding through grants and pitch competitions and exploring venture capital opportunities to fuel our growth. Meanwhile, PAWE 4.0 is already in the works, and we can’t wait to share more updates as development continues.
It’s been a long and rewarding journey, and we’re just getting started. We’re excited to keep pushing forward, and we’re incredibly grateful to have you all with us on this path.
Stay tuned for more updates!
Warmly,
Technotonin Team
